The art of winning and loosing

R2D2 has an interesting new tactic which he uses when we are playing a game (board or card) and he realises he is loosing:

Me: I've nearly won ......

R2D2: No you haven't....

(I win the game...)

R2D2: You've done it all wrong!!!

Me: Ummm... why???!!??

R2D2: because you are playing it the English way and I'm not - I'm playing it the French way with the French rules..... so actually I get all of these cards and its my turn again.....

Me: WHAT!!!! THAT IS NOT THE FRENCH WAY.

R2D2: Yes it is. I know better than you. I go to French school and anyway there's no need to shout.

Me: (mutters).... where I'm from that's called cheating.....

Parental Note: It would be wise to learn the art of loosing graciously to your children and allowing them to 'win' the game. Alternatives which include sideway's death inducing glances, muttering under breath and slamming doors, is possibly not the healthiest way to teach sportsmanship.
